@everyone An anonymous benefactor (Pure, @Pure) has GENEROUSLY donated his time (money) into hosting an event for the art channel. We're holding an art contest! With real stakes, real rewards and ideally a generous time limit. DEADLINE: You have until the end of Friday the week after next week (we'll make an event) to submit an art piece of our one and only Jon, CanuckRabbit#3415. I'd @ him here, but for obvious reasons, he's not allowed in this channel. So, you have a week. Your judges will be:

and a surprise, secret, celebrity third judge! :D

REQUIREMENTS: Your submissions will feature Jon the fckng bnuuy with the bee shirt being put into his proper role-- at the very pinnacle, peak of the food chain, the absolute most apex predator to ever exist, malicious and bloodthirsty and hungry for more, and as vorny as possible, do as much as you can-- but he's also unwilling. We'll post art of him below, his ref, maybe stickers from his sticker pack, anything that we think help you frame your apex predator. Submissions should ideally have:

Bunny predator who is vaguely Jon. We'll be lenient though-- it may as well just be a bunny with a bee shirt.
Unwilling pred, or at least, circumstantial pred, maybe accidental. You know what we're going for. He's normally a prey.
Things that tease the fact that Jon is an apex predator, and is merciless.
He also likes butts. Like a lot. NSFW is free to do to any degree, though his favorites are AV and OV.
We're pretty sure the only thing he's not a fan of is CV.

Prey can be anything you want! A YCH might be preferable, but it's not going to matter as far as winning more/less. Also, he doesn't know about the contest. Don't message him about it either, it's going to be a surprise-- and don't worry, we have his permission to draw him as a pred. :3 He's gonna be stoked. SUBMISSIONS: Submissions will be listed in #deleted-channel and will be put in there anonymously by @Kennyyeen, message him with your submissions and he'll post them for you. Keeping it anonymous, even if we do end up recognizing a lot of people's art styles, is so that you can submit as many submissions as you want and be immune to bias. You can win twice! We'll still modersate it though, no half-assing it-- unless its really funny. PRIZES: 1st place: $100 2nd place: $75 3rd place: $50 Pure's Favorite: $25 Geese's Favorite: $25 Mystery Judge's Favorite: $50 Beyond that, you win practice and a special place in Jon's heart. n wn The contest ends on Friday, but at the same time as Gartic Phone normally is next week, we'll be judging the submissions live with the mystery judge, and winners will be picked. --- And, like, go for it. Message Blue#6695 with the submissions you make and we'll post them up, and we'll be posting references of our terrifying predator in a couple minutes. We've also made Jon unable to see or interact with #chat or the Hangout VC during the contest, so if you want to make use of those to discuss, go for it. He won't notice. Also! Final thing-- do try to invite as many artists who you think will be interested in the contest as you can. The point of this Discord server in the first place is just to try to motivate artists to draw... even though, at the moment, that might just include vore-furries. x wx Still! @Kennyyeen and @annoy commit anarchy and hid the #deleted-channel channel, which theoretically is good if one of the things that makes people worried about submitting is being able to see other people's entries and compare. I still somehow want there to be a counter for total submissions, but... I mean, I get the reasons for it. I dunno! Still submit if you want to draw something, a few entries have come in now but it's still few enough that you're guaranteed to win. Don't procrastinate! Yaarggablarrgghhh! (edited)

@everyone Art contest final submissions, get them in by Friday

Pure is giving me $500 on the grounds that I make another art contest happen. And he's pushing that further on the grounds that its a birthday gift and I use it on birthday or else the collar will explode. So. @everyone has until my birthday, August 21st, that's Saturday, to make a picture representing "birthday Geese." We still apparently can't have nice things though because there is again a few rules:

The money is going to be split up between all qualifying submissions. That means if only 5 people qualify, each will get $100.
To qualify, you just need to do more than a loss meme (like, try) and try out a new style of art-- WHICH IS TO SAY

-- YOU ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED TO GET AT LEAST $75, it just has to be drawn in a way that I can't guess who drew it. I won't know all the contestants, nor who has what level of ability, nor how much/little anyone is going to put into it, only that if I guess whodunnit, you lose. This incentivizes you to draw fast (due date is SOON), be creative (new style), and to treat it like an actual surprise birthday I guess. ":) You are actively disincentivized from telling me whether or not you are participating. Due to how SOON the due date suddenly is I'm still going to be @'ing everyone semi-daily or something to submit. I can't harass y'all to participate this time, Pure is suddenly doing this and its... Really nice, and I don't know, aaa, aaaa, draw quick I guess. Send your submissions to him @Pure this time. You can do up to two submissions which will almost cement your place as a winner, unless I'm just completely able to tell on both pictures-- that being said, it won't double your winnings. We'll see how many guesses I get on each picture too based upon how many submissions there are total. Just... Have fun. Please.

And I know I normally try to be super nice with the benefit-of-the-doubt kind of thing but I *WILL* be doing my damndest to guess who drew what, so go ham.

Art contest will be judged we'll say a half-hour before this week's Drawpile (hosted and brought to you by Phoneme) since I suspect it shouldn't take too long. Slither, stalk and scaly is the talk for this Snekptember! I want to ssssssssee snakes! Vorny, horny and a tad corn(snake)y! The prompt is simple, include snakes! Turn an OC into a snek, snek snack or partaking in noodly friends! Just requires a majority of the subjects of the piece be snakes! A maximum of 2 art pieces may be submitted and can be any visual art form you prefer (A comic counts as 1 piece just don't go nuts please I will feel bad) . Submitting multiple pieces may be beneficial when judging comes around, just a hint! The method of judging will be announced later, and will involve heavy audience participation and be designed around spreading the wealth rather than just having exact winnings. The total pool of funds will be $1500 and the contest will last all September. Like last time, send the submissions to me @PureKitsu so I can hoard your sneks. Festive Fanart Time! @everyone I know it has been a bit since the last event, but I wanted to do something easy for the holidays! Basically, the only prompt is to draw other people's character(s?) in an original piece!

There will be no judging this time around, it will be a simple $50 reward for each piece submitted, with a limit to 2 pieces of art. Lineart, cleaned sketched, 3D models, animations, pixel art and comics are all valid. Just be reasonable in effort please.

-- People who want to make something more complex like a comic or animation can get it counted twice.

The only other limit is that I ask that if you submit two pieces, they are of different characters, spread the love!
Do spread the love though-- no Mizu licking feet or Geese making out with cartoon characters, no bully, just Chrimbo.

- I'm gonna be a little bit selfish: if you draw Pure for one of the pieces, you get $25 extra. :)

Now, for the fun part! Participating at all (with art) automatically gives you the ability to gift someone of your choice $100 and I will give them a message from you anonymously! Anybody else in the server, within the limit that money CAN be sent to you. And you aren't @Evil Queen Me. He is not allowed to win money, not since the incident. Also, you'll be put into a roulette to win $300 for participation. Christmas. I want this to both be something that doesn't take too much time out of the busy holidays and is equally rewarding, so don't feel like your art needs to be perfect or a seriously labor to be valued and considered. I want this to be a fun gifting of art and money. As usual, send all submissions to me @Pure, and the event starts official now until 12/22/22. No need to feel rushed, and feel free to use this as an opportunity to be artistically experimental for at least a guaranteed $50. (edited)

Time is almost up!!! On the 22nd is when I will follow up with pretty much everyone and make sure all the final tallys are made. There will also be an announcement as to when I will spin the $300 roulette live, wanna make sure people have time to watch and interact in a call! Beyond that, revealing the art and final totals coming your way will be done on Christmas.

Okay!! Just a quick announcement, the roulette for all participants for the $300 will be on 12/24/22 at 12PM Mountain Time.
